This Privacy Policy describes our practices with respect to Personal Data that we collect when you use our website, applications, and AI-powered CRM services (collectively, the “Services”).
This Privacy Policy does not apply to content we process solely on behalf of enterprise/business customers under separate customer agreements.

We collect different types of Personal Data depending on how you use our Services:

- Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, contact details (phone/email), account credentials, business details (e.g., company name), payment information, and transaction history.
- User Content: Any information you input into Vera CRM, including contact details, notes, tasks, reminders, or communications (emails, SMS drafts, etc.).
- Communication Information: If you contact us (email, support tickets, surveys, events), we may collect your name, contact details, and message contents.
- Other Information: Information you may provide to verify your identity, age, or business affiliation.
b. Information We Collect Automatically
When you use our Services, we may collect:
- Log Data: IP address, browser/device type, date and time of use, and usage patterns.
- Usage Data: Features you use, actions taken, frequency of use, timezone, device details, and session activity.
- Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique identifiers, and browser.
- Location Information: Approximate location (via IP) for fraud detection and security. Some features may request precise GPS data if you choose to enable them.

We may disclose Personal Data in the following circumstances:
- Vendors and Service Providers: Cloud hosting, payment processors, analytics, communications providers, and customer support tools.
- Business Transfers: During mergers, acquisitions, financing, or sale of assets.
- Legal and Safety Reasons: To comply with laws, enforce terms, detect/prevent fraud, protect rights/safety of Vera CRM, users, or others.
- Affiliates: Within the VeraCRM corporate family for service delivery.
- Business Accounts: If you use a work email, your employer/organization may control your account.
- Other Users/Third Parties: If you intentionally share information (e.g., messages, referrals, or integrations with third-party services).
- Retention
We retain Personal Data only as long as necessary for:
- Delivering Services;
- Security, fraud prevention, and compliance;
- Resolving disputes and enforcing agreements.
Retention periods depend on data type, business need, and legal obligations. Deleted data may remain in backup systems temporarily.

Accuracy Note: Outputs generated by our AI may not always be factually accurate. If Vera CRM produces inaccurate information about you, you may request correction or removal, and we will review such requests under applicable law.

Our Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us data, contact us at privacy@veracrm.com, and we will take appropriate steps. -
Security
We implement commercially reasonable measures (technical, administrative, organizational) to protect Personal Data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no system is 100% secure, and you should be cautious with the information you provide. -
Additional U.S. State Disclosures
Certain state laws (e.g., California, Virginia) require specific disclosures:
We collect identifiers, commercial information, usage/network data, communication information, geolocation, and payment details.
We use this data as described in Section 2.
We do not sell Personal Data or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We do not process sensitive Personal Data to infer consumer characteristics.
